SRCS Member Spotlight.png

SoundCheck is a smaller, audition only, group that will sing more challenging music, perform at our SRCS concerts and perform at 3-4 additional engagements.

​

Auditions will be on Sunday, June 22 at 5pm and Saturday, June 28 at 1pm with our Artistic Director, Anola. Auditions will be held at St. Peter's Lutheran on both dates.

June 15 - Rehearsal from 6-8pm

June 22 - Sound Check auditions - 5pm

                 Rehearsal from 6-8pm

June 28 - Sound Check auditions - 1pm

                 Dress Rehearsal from 10am-1pm

June 29 - Performances

                 10:15am call at Marine Corps Museum; concert at 11am

                  2:15pm call at church, concert at 3pm

July 5 - SRCS performs the Star Spangled Banner at FredNats Stadium. 6pm call time.

Notes

April 13 - we listened to all of the selected music, and did a run-through of all of the songs.

April 20 - No Rehearsal

April 27 - We had sectionals for the first half of rehearasal. We learned the Star Spangled Banner, Homeward Bound, I Sing Because I'm Happy, and Song for the Unsung Hero. The men went through portions of Paul Revere.

May 4 - we worked on Festive Call, Homeward Bound, Midnight Ride (listen to your track and rehearse this one, please!), Cedar Swamp, and Ad Astra.

May 11 - no rehearsal

​May 18 - We had sectionals for the first half, then went through I Sing Because I'm Happy, Salute to the Arm Forces . During the sectionals, the men reviewed Ad Astra, Unsungo Hero, and Paul Reviere.

June 1 - we had sectionals for the first half, then finished learning Midnight Ride. All singers are strongly encouraged to work on Midnight Ride this week.

June 8 - we committed the Star Spangled Banner to memory, worked on Sing/Happy, Unsung Hero, and made great progress on Paul Revere.
