"He'll Make a Way" - Summer 2018
The SRCS Choir, Men's Chorus, and Women's Chorus led by Guest Director Bonita King present an inspirational concert on July 14th at Mount Ararat. The concert celebrated America's gospel and spiritual heritage. The audience enjoyed the spirituals Follow the Drinking Gourd, Wade in the Water, We Shall Walk Through the Valley, Ev'ry Time I Feel the Spirit, and Great God A'mighty and the uplifting gospel choral music Order My Steps, I'm Goin' Up Yonder, Peace in the Valley and He'll Make a Way. The concert was concluded by a gospel version of The Hallelujah Chorus.

"The Hunchback of Notre Dame!" - Spring 2018
The Stafford Regional Choral Society was honored to participate in the Riverside Center for the Performing Arts presentation of the Hunchback of Notre Dame. SRCS choir members took turns for each performance to provide the Notre Dame Cathedral Choir supporting the actors and orchestra in this fabulous musical. The music by Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz led by music director Garrett Jones was beautifully produced by Riverside's Artistic Director Patrick A'Hearn and performed by the theater's talented actors and orchestra supported by the SRCS choir.
"Brightest and Best" - Christmas 2017
The Christmas season was made joyous by the Stafford Regional Choral Society Christmas Concert featuring excerpts from Handel's Messiah and seasonal choral music. The SRCS Choir with orchestra and SoundCHECK presented two performances at St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Many thanks to Guest Director Joe Evler and accompanist Katy Hichborn as they prepared and led SRCS in making the season bright.
Performances
The Stafford Regional Choral Society presents two free concerts; one in the summer and the other at Christmas. A Gala fundraiser dinner show is staged every spring and is the only event where the SRCS charges for tickets.
Instead of a Gala in 2018, the SRCS choir performed at the Riverside Theater for the Performing Arts as part of their production of
The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
The 2017 Summer Concerts were performed on July 1st
at St. Peter's and
July 2nd at the Marine Corp Museum.
The Brightest & Best Christmas Concert was performed twice on Dec 17th at St. Peter's
SoundCheck provided choral music the Sentara Hospital Auxiliary Tree Lighting on
Dec 10th and was part of the 2017 SRCS Christmas Concerts. SoundCHECK also entertained for the St. Peter's Youth Benefit Dinner on Feb 11th and at the LEO Club Breakfast at Colonial Forge High School on March 17.
